Motorcycle Rider Dies After Crash on I-90 in Central Washington

ELLENSBURG, WA – A traffic accident on westbound Interstate 90, six miles west of Ellensburg, claimed the life of a 63-year-old man from Seattle late Sunday evening. The crash, which involved three vehicles, occurred around 8:53 PM on May 4, 2025, and is under investigation by the Washington State Patrol.

According to WSP reports, the accident occurred when a 2017 Jeep Cherokee rear-ended a 2008 BMW motorcycle traveling in the same direction. The motorcycle was reportedly struck again by a third vehicle, a 2024 RAM 3500 pickup truck.

The motorcycle’s rider, a man whose identity has not been released pending next of kin notification, was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the Jeep and the pickup were not injured. Both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash…
