The Tacoma City Council is seeking applicants to fill two positions on the Transportation Commission, which advises the council on transportation-related matters. Applications are due by June 10.
The commission is comprised of 11 members — nine voting members appointed by the city council, with representatives from each of the city’s five council districts. Appointed members should reflect the following areas of special interest or discipline: the construction/private business sector, professional engineering sector, bike and pedestrian/mass transit sector, planning/urban growth sector, general community, environmental/sustainability sector, and ADA community.
