Parents charged in connection to 15-month-old son’s fentanyl overdose

BONNEY LAKE, Wash. — Two Pierce County parents were charged after their 15-month-old son died from a fentanyl overdose, according to the county’s Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Nicholas Lee Tucker, 33, was charged with one count of first-degree manslaughter on June 6. Karlee Eley, 26, was charged with first-degree manslaughter and a bench warrant has been issued for her arrest.

On March 13 this year, officers responded to a Bonney Lake apartment complex for reports of a 15-month-old boy who was not breathing. Tucker and Eley were identified as the boy’s parents, according to charging documents…
