VIDEO: Auburn Police arrest suspect in tire slashing incident after standoff

A man accused of slashing the tires of a random vehicle outside a Harbor Freight store on July 6, 2025 was arrested the following day by Auburn Police after a brief standoff and the discovery of multiple active warrants.

According to police, the initial call involved a report of tire slashing, with witnesses also alleging the suspect had been waving a knife. Officers were unable to confirm the knife allegation during their investigation.
