What started as a spontaneous jest quickly spiraled into a full-fledged business powered by creativity and an impressive knack for social-media marketing.
Originally from San Diego, Aratin moved to Washington with her husband, unsure of where her new chapter would lead. Inspired by a spooky-themed night market she visited before leaving California, she set out to start something similar — without any connections, vendor experience, or funding.
