The Washington State Patrol is asking the public for help identifying a driver who’s accused of running over a pedestrian on southbound Interstate 5 in Olympia last month.
The fatal hit and run occurred at about 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, just north of Sleater Kinney Road, The Olympian previously reported.
Witnesses reported the pedestrian was lying in one of the two center lanes when they were struck by a white pickup truck, according to a press memo.
