A motorcyclist died after a crash with a car on Interstate 5 in Tacoma Thursday afternoon.
State patrol troopers were dispatched to the highway near South 56th Street for the crash at around 2:24 p.m., according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The motorcyclist and a woman driving a car were going northbound on I-5 in one of the middle lanes. The woman saw the motorcyclist behind her in her rear view mirror splitting lanes.
