A pedestrian is facing charges after allegedly scattering hundreds of nails across a Washington highway early Sunday, officials said.
The Washington State Patrol said troopers and Washington Department of Transportation personnel responded to westbound State Road 16 near South Union Avenue in Tacoma shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday to clear “a large amount of nails strewn across multiple lanes.”
