Stolen vehicle going 90 mph sparks police chase, drone search in Pierce County

Multiple police agencies joined a chase for a stolen Honda Odyssey that was spotted driving recklessly on the Key Peninsula Tuesday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Carly Cappetto told The News Tribune that the Honda Odyssey was stolen from someone’s driveway the morning of Aug. 18. The victim reported she had accidentally left the van unlocked, Cappetto said.
