A 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg on Saturday night after what witnesses described as a confrontation in Seattle’s Ravenna neighborhood, with police and emergency crews responding to the scene shortly after reports of gunfire were made, as stated in the Seattle Police Department’s blog.
Around 8:23 p.m. near the 1300 block of Northeast Ravenna Boulevard, a teen was shot and left in the street until medics from the Seattle Fire Department arrived. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center and is in stable condition. Seattle Police Department said the teen and a friend were walking back to their car after a concert in Cowen Park when two unknown people approached them. A fight broke out, and one of the suspects pulled a gun and shot the teen. Both suspects ran off and have not been found.
