A Puyallup man who died after a train crashed into his vehicle, splitting it in two, in Sumner on Monday has been identified, according to the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Cole Wilson-Porster, 22, died after the Amtrak train hit his car near the 800 block of Maple Street. His cause and manner of death are listed as pending, the office wrote in a news release. That is a temporary designation used when additional information is required for certification.
