Timberline High School went into lockdown Wednesday after a student allegedly pointed what appeared to be a handgun at another student off-campus.
A student called 911 shortly after 11 a.m. to report that a 17-year-old student pointed a handgun at them from a car on Mullen Road Southeast near the school, Lacey police Sgt. Jeremy Knight said.
A school resource officer immediately placed the high school in lockdown and Lacey police officers responded to the scene, the Lacey Police Department shared in an afternoon Facebook post.
