Starbucks is laying off around 900 employees and closing several stores in the U.S. and Canada to refocus on a turnaround, The Associated Press reported earlier this week.
The coffee giant is closing at least 28 stores in Washington, including nine in Seattle, KIRO 7 confirmed.

In Seattle, two stores are closing in Queen Anne. One is located at 425 Queen Anne Avenue N. in Uptown, Lower Queen Anne, while the other is the pickup store at 100 Denny Way.
