A single-car crash near Port Orchard left a Gig Harbor woman dead Thursday afternoon.
A 61-year-old man driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer on westbound state Route 16 near Mattress Ranch lost control of the car at about 2:35 p.m. The car went off the right side of the roadway and stopped down an embankment, according to the Washington State Patrol in a news release.
