TACOMA, Wash. — Food from unpermitted roadside vendors in Tacoma may appear appetizing, but officials warn of significant health risks.

A recent investigation by the City of Tacoma Tax & License Compliance and police uncovered multiple food-safety violations at a home used as a kitchen by several unpermitted street food vendors in Pierce County.
