WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla County Superior Court has learned that Jingbing Xue, 44, of Federal Way, was arrested Wednesday morning in Yakima.
A representative from a bail bond company addressed the court Wednesday afternoon telling Judge Patricia Fulton that Xue was arrested on a $2 million warrant. Fulton decided to tentatively schedule a hearing for next Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., as it is anticipated that Xue will be transported to Walla Walla County before then.
Accused of trying to collect $35,000 from a victim in Walla Walla on Sept. 10 as part of a scam, Xue is charged with first-degree attempted theft, first-degree conspiracy to commit theft, attempting to elude a police vehicle – endangering one or more persons, and reckless driving. He pleaded not guilty to all charges during his Sept. 15 arraignment and did not appear for a hearing on Oct. 6 and had not been heard from since posting $75,000 bail…
