State troopers are asking witnesses to come forward related to an incident over the weekend where a man allegedly threw a cement block at a passing vehicle, leaving a passenger with life-threatening injuries in Tacoma.
A man was on Interstate 705 on Nov. 22 between the 9th Street on-ramp and the state Route 509 off-ramp when he allegedly threw the cement block at a passing vehicle. The block shattered a window of the vehicle, which carried a 63-year-old woman and 64-year-old man, both from Puyallup.
The man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after he was treated at hospital in Tacoma. Prosecutors wrote in charging documents the left side of his face/skull was crushed…
