A 37-year-old disabled Air Force Veteran, his wife, and their 14-year-old son have found themselves suddenly homeless after their apartment was flooded with sewage and subsequently condemned by the city. The family, with no relatives in the area and limited resources, have been left in a dire situation. The wife recently lost her job due to health issues, further exacerbating their financial strain. The family’s landlord has not offered any assistance in finding alternative accommodation. The veteran, in an attempt to maintain a positive outlook, plans to take his family camping for the weekend while he works on resolving the legalities with the landlord and seeks assistance from the VA. He has reached out to the online community, seeking suggestions for free and safe camping sites for his family in the area between Seattle and Auburn, WA. The full story can be found here…
