A man accused of stealing an ATV in Morton is now facing assault and harassment charges for allegedly attacking Lewis County Jail staff on Tuesday.
Douglas Wayne Raymond, 35, of Lacey, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail on Dec. 15 for allegedly stealing an ATV from a residential porch in Morton earlier that day.
He was charged with one count each of theft of a motor vehicle and possession of meth, and had his preliminary hearing in Lewis County Superior Court at 4 p.m. on Dec. 16. Bail was set at $100,000…
