T Line riders no longer have to take alternative bus transportation next week as railway construction was indefinitely postponed, David Jackson, a spokesperson for Sound Transit, told The News Tribune on Friday.
Sound Transit announced last week that buses would replace the T Line trains as crews work to fix two broken rails.
One of the pieces of rail needed for construction is not correct for the situation, Jackson said. A new piece needs to be prefabricated, which in Jackson’s experience can “take a long time.”…
