A new ice cream and candy shop is making its way to Gig Harbor’s Olympic Village — just in time for spring and summer. Reported back in January by Gig Harbor Now, Couple of Scoops plans to open on May 1 and will be located in the space out of which GameStop used to operate. It’ll sell soft serve, scooped, gluten-free, and dairy-free ice cream and other sweet-treat options.
Couple of Scoops’ owner is Jim Ciaciuch, who’s also at the helm of the three-year-old Tacoma Mall sock store Couple of Socks.
