Vigil mourns teens shot outside Seattle schools: ‘He’s my only child’

Dozens gathered to grieve and pray Saturday near a Rainier Valley bus stop where two students were shot and killed a day earlier.

Seattle police have not announced any arrests in the killings, and a sense of unease lingered Saturday, as students gathered in a crowd of about 100 people near South Shore PK-8 School and Rainier Beach High School.

A vigil mourned and honored the two teens, who were shot around 4 p.m. Friday, about 30 minutes after students from both schools were dismissed for the day. Video posted on social media suggested the gunfire also broke a window of an occupied King County Metro bus, though there were no other reports of injuries…
