The Tacoma-based Making a Difference Foundation nonprofit recently received a $1,000 donation from John McGahan and Wilhelmina Claus-McGahan in support of Eloise’s Cooking Pot Food Bank, a program offered by the foundation that serves Pierce County individuals and families facing food insecurity.
The contribution helps strengthen the food bank’s ability to provide nutritious, culturally relevant food to households in need, a release from the organization said.
