TACOMA, Wash. — A 20-year-old man was killed in a DUI crash after the vehicle struck a barrier and overturned on State Route 16 near 6th Avenue in Tacoma, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash occurred when a westbound vehicle traveling in the third lane of four changed lanes to the left and collided with a barrier. The vehicle came to rest on its side on the left shoulder of the roadway.
Emergency responders pronounced one passenger dead at the scene. The victim, whose name has been withheld pending notification of next of kin, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash…
