Puyallup credit union robber is at large, police say. Public asked to avoid area

Police are investigating a robbery at a Puyallup credit union.

In a news release sent out at 4:17 p.m., the Puyallup Police Department said the robbery happened at about 2:14 p.m.

“Officers arrived and confirmed via bank employees that an individual had robbed the bank. It was reported that the individual had displayed a firearm and demanded money from the teller,” the release said. “After receiving money, the individual fled the location on foot.”…
