3 victims in Key Peninsula stabbings identified as community advocates

GIG HARBOR, Wash. — The three people killed trying to intervene as a 32-year-old allegedly stabbed his mother to death outside a Key Peninsula home Feb. 24 have been identified.

Investigators say four people were stabbed outside a home on the Key Peninsula the morning of Feb. 24 before a Pierce County deputy shot and killed the suspect, Aleksander Shablykin. One of the four victims killed was his mother, Zoya Shablykina.
