Port Orchard’s waterfront just picked up a new heavyweight. Rustica Grille, a steakhouse promising hearty cuts of beef, bison burgers and country-style breakfasts, quietly slipped open this week on Bay Street inside the Port Orchard Public Market. The restaurant is aiming to be that rare combo spot that catches early-morning locals on their way out the door and reels in relaxed evening diners at the end of the day, filling a long-standing gap in the market’s waterfront lineup.

According to The News Tribune, Rustica Grille officially opened last Wednesday at 715 Bay St. Owner Katie Hudkins told the paper she envisioned the place as a “family-friendly, high-quality food option” for Port Orchard. The restaurant is serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and plans to be open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., giving Bay Street one of its longest service windows.

Bay Street Space And What It Replaced

Local listings place Rustica Grille at 715 Bay Street, and the Port Orchard Bay Street Association already includes the newcomer among its waterfront partners. The space previously housed The Dock Bar & Eatery, a long-time tenant that is now listed as permanently closed and whose shuttered status is noted in Maritime Washington guides.

Menu, Hours And Ordering

As detailed by The News Tribune, Rustica Grille leans into classic steakhouse territory, pairing its country-style breakfasts with bison burgers and an all-you-can-eat salad bar. Hudkins and her team told the paper they will let customers order ahead using a QR code posted at the marina and at the airport operated by the Port of Bremerton, a setup tailored to boaters and travelers on tight schedules.
