TACOMA, Wash. — A 25-year-old patient at Wellfound Behavioral Health in Tacoma has been charged with first-degree attempted murder after prosecutors said he badly beat a 63-year-old woman inside the psychiatric hospital, leaving her in critical condition.
Pierce County prosecutors charged Elias Santos Salcedo in connection with the March 14 attack at the facility on South 19th Street.
