Pierce County records detail alleged five-hour delay in getting help before woman’s 2024 death

PUYALLUP, Wash. — A Pierce County man has been charged in the 2024 death of Tashylah Combs, according to court documents filed this week.

Kai Domonic Butler has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, second-degree assault, felony fourth-degree assault, unlawful imprisonment and first-degree criminal mistreatment.
