Tacoma man charged for chasing, robbing teens and shooting 1 over water balloon, docs say

TACOMA, Wash. — A Tacoma man is facing assault, robbery and firearm charges after prosecutors say he chased down four teens, robbed them and shot one of them after someone in the group threw a water balloon at his car.

Pierce County prosecutors charged Majeed Lamir Guerry, 31, with first-degree assault, four counts of first-degree robbery and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the Feb. 28 shooting.

Court records say he is not allowed from owning or possessing a firearm because of prior felony convictions…
