PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — An internal investigation into deputies who responded to a 2025 DUI crash involving a high-ranking Pierce County Sheriff’s Office official found multiple policy violations, including failures in body camera use, documentation, and supervisory oversight, according to findings released Thursday.
The review examined deputies’ actions following a July 12, 2025, collision in Graham involving then-Maj. Chad Dickerson, who was off duty when his pickup truck struck an SUV carrying six family members.
