Tacoma Internet Provider Commits $65K to Communities; Applications Open for Digital-Equity Program

Tacoma-based internet provider Lightcurve last week announced a several philanthropic investments supporting economic growth and downtown communities in Central and Western Washington.

Lightcurve has pledged $25,000 to the Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County, reinforcing efforts to drive regional economic growth, attract new business opportunities, and support workforce-development initiatives, the company said in a news release.

Recognizing the importance of thriving local business districts, Lightcurve has also made targeted donations to several downtown associations, including $10,000 each to the Centralia, Ellensburg, and Selah downtown associations and $10,000 to Experience Chehalis.
