If you listen to all of the Florida State subscription sites, three-star defensive lineman Jason Lewis was all Florida State after his official visit a couple of weeks ago. He left without committing, with an official visit to Syracuse on deck the following week.
The sense was that visit for a formality before he would ultimately commit to Florida State. All of the crystal ball predictions favored Florida State until they all switched to Syracuse about an hour before Lewis committed to Syracuse on Thursday evening:

Jason Lewis’s recruitment is par for the course for the Florida State staff
Lewis is from Florida and grew up a Florida State fan, and maybe that’s what some folks put more stock in than they should have. However, Lewis said he went with his heart. That’s odd, considering Syracuse is the polar opposite of Florida and not known for producing NFL talent. However, Syracuse offered Lewis well before Florida State, and that could have played a part in the decision…
