TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – There are dozens of dogs, cats, puppies, kittens – even a rabbit – awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center right now, and they are all available for free this weekend during the Petco Love Florida Mega Pet Adoption Event!
“We’re going to have fee-waived adoptions on everybody,” assistant director Grayson Walters said, “because we have so many animals. We’ve got over 150 adoptable animals that are looking for homes.”
Petco Love’s Florida Mega Pet Adoption Event is an annual statewide initiative. This year its goal is to find homes for 2,000 pets in three days. The Tallahassee Animal Service Center will be open and participating on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The three-day event – with its promise of free adoptions – makes this weekend the perfect time to consider adding a new best friend to the family…
