Artists and Autism: Shake the World Exhibition – Embracing Art and Autism Awareness in Leon County

The Leon County Government is inviting residents of all ages and abilities to participate in the “Artists and Autism: Shake the World” exhibition. This event, announced on January 26, 2024 in a press release, is in celebration of National Autism Acceptance Month and will be held at the Leon County Main Library.

Submissions for the exhibition are open until Saturday, March 2, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Interested artists can register and submit their artwork online at LeonCountyFL.gov/Celebration.

For those needing assistance with their online application, help is available at any library branch location in the county.

The exhibition is a partnership between the Leon County Government, the FSU Autism Institute, the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (FSU CARD), and Arts4All Florida.

It aims to showcase the creativity of individuals on the autism spectrum and promote autism awareness and acceptance.

An opening celebration for the exhibit is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, from 6-7 p.m. at the downtown Leon County Main Library.
