TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man has been found guilty in a 2022 home invasion that turned deadly. Rovontai Payne was convicted in a robbery turned shooting at Plato’s Villas at San Marcos in September 2022. Prosecutors say both a resident and one of the robbers were killed in an exchange of gunfire.
