A man was critically injured in an early Friday crash after he ran into a roadside billboard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The 34-year-old was headed north on Capital Circle Northwest near Oniel Lane around 1:35 a.m. when he veered into the shoulder and “collided with a large metal billboard sign,” according to a news release.
“Following the collision, (he) was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare with critical injuries,” FHP said. The Leon County Sheriff’s Office and Leon County EMS assisted FHP on the crash.
