J.Crew Factory appears to be the latest major retailer coming to the capital.
NAI Talcor Commercial Real Estate Broker Debbie Ashlin made a “new tenant announcement” on Facebook: “J.Crew Factory is officially under construction to open a 5,000 SF space at the Whole Foods anchored shopping center.”
It’s not immediately clear when the retailer will open. Attempts to reach Ashlin were unsuccessful.
J.Crew Factory — a lower price-point retailer first launched in 1988 — falls under J.Crew Group Inc., along with the J.Crew and Madewell brands.
The company has 120 J.Crew retail stores, more than 150 Madewell stores and 215 J.Crew Factory stores in nearly every state, according to J.Crew’s website. The nearest factory stores are currently in Gainesville, Destin or Jacksonville.
