TALLAHASSEE – A smile shoots across the face of Earl Little Jr.. as he thinks about how far he and defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain have come. Little Jr. is about to enter Florida State’s spring practice with a chance to compete for several vacant starting spots in the secondary as a highly-rated transfer recruit, while Surtain is entering Year 2 at FSU after helping the Seminoles cultivate one of the best passing defenses in the country.
