The Tallahassee Fire Department extinguished a house fire Friday morning on Crown Ridge Road.
“Upon arrival, TFD units found heavy smoke and fire coming from a single-story residence,” TFD said in a news release.
Nobody was inside the home when firefighters arrived around 11:20 a.m., and there were no injuries. TFD said the cause of the fire “appears to be electrical.”
Leon County EMS, Leon County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Tallahassee Utilities helped TFD. The Red Cross came to assist the residents.
