TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) – The tornado watch that covered several local counties has been discontinued as of 2:20 p.m. Monday. A weaker line of heavy rain and thunderstorms will cross through eastern Big Bend and Suwannee River counties through the late afternoon time frame. These can kick up wind gusts around 40 mph, especially near the coast, with passing bouts of downpours and occasional lightning.
