As Tallahassee celebrates bicentennial birthday, here’s what kids love the most TLH 200

Out of the mouths of Tallahassee’s babes comes truth about our capital city as it celebrates its bicentennial birthday.

The Tallahassee Democrat asked kids what they love most about the city they live in, and the answers probably won’t surprise you.

“I like the beaches because I like the sunsets,” said 8-year-old Hawkins. “I like to fish at the beach. Last time I caught a squid.”

We like the sunsets, too, Hawkins.

It’s the little things, and the littles help remind us why Tallahassee is so great, even after 200 years.
