New Iberia (La.) Westgate On300 cornerback Jaboree Antoine recently decommitted from LSU and Florida State is one of the programs he has a keen eye on.
The On3 Industry’s No. 6 cornerback and No. 63 prospect overall was in Tallahassee earlier this month. He took his official visit the weekend of June 14.
“The energy that was expressed and shown from Coach Norvell and the staff from day one to day three didn’t change not one bit,” Antoine said.
“Comparing them to other programs they kept it real. They weren’t just telling me things I wanted to hear they were telling me the real.”
While LSU will remain in the picture for Antoine, Florida State is giving him a lot to think about.
“As I went threw the visit and grew a better relationship with Coach Pat (Surtain) and the whole defensive staff and how I would fit into the scheme it’s meant for me to make plays and be able to take a side of the field away.”
Antoine also visited Miami during the summer.
