Pam Ridley, a Tallahassee community champion and Club 25 founder, passes

Pam Ridley, owner of longtime Sentry Self Storage and a champion for youth, women and small businesses, died Thursday in hospice after a long illness.

In 2017, her beloved business celebrated its 25 year anniversary. An article dated Dec. 10, 2017, in the Democrat punctuated how much the milestone meant to Ridley and the importance of surviving challenges as a small business owner. The article said, “Pam knew that tenacity and longevity were in her DNA.”

The article went on to say that “If it’s happening andĀ happening right, Pam is involved”

With her sing-song island accent and wide smile, Ridley showed love and support to people everywhere she went and it often seemed like she was everywhere.

Fundraisers and social events, like The Links Beautillion, a black-tie ceremony celebrating outstanding young Black males. The Golden Eagles Ladies Club fashion show. Organizations like the Ladies Learning to Lead and the The Zonta Club of Tallahassee, a global organization of professionals aiming to build a “better world for women and girls through service and advocacy.”
