UPDATE 6:45 P.M.
Tallahassee Police issued the following update regarding what happened:
“The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating a home invasion robbery and shooting incident in the 2700 block of West Pensacola Street.
At approximately 3 p.m., officers responded to The Social 2700, located at 2700 West Pensacola Street, for reports of a home invasion robbery. As two suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, the suspects fired several gunshots in the area. No injuries were sustained in the shooting.
At this time, one suspect has been detained, and officers are working to locate an additional suspect.
The preliminary investigation revealed this is an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
The investigation remains open and active and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
