The polls are open for another week of voting in the Campus USA Credit Union Athlete of the Week poll.
Local athletes are starting to hit midseason form as the performances continue to improve around the area with some eye-catching numbers leading to eight nominees for this week’s Campus USA Credit Union Athlete of the Week. From star showings on the football field to the volleyball courts, meet the nominees.
Coaches, players, family and friends, be sure to share this poll and vote for who you think should win.
The poll closes Thursday at 12 p.m. and results will be announced Friday at noon.
Kingston Williams, Taylor County football
Stats: In a 56-0 win over North Florida Christian he had three catches for 54 yards, one interception returned for a 51-yard touchdown and one 81-yard punt return for a touchdown. He finished with 186 all-purpose yards.
Jamarin Simmons, Godby football
Stats: In a 29-26 win over Suwannee he had four catches for 132 yards and one touchdown.
