If you’re a fan of breakfast biscuits, you might’ve heard of Maple Street Biscuit Company, a popular breakfast spot that’s actually owned by Cracker Barrel. Unfortunately, their Tallahassee location had to temporarily close its doors after a recent state inspection revealed some troubling issues.

Maple Street Biscuit Company has built quite the reputation since it first opened in Jacksonville back in 2012. Call Street, has been a hit with locals, boasting a 4.5-star rating on Google. People who dine in seem to have great experiences, but not everyone is thrilled, especially those who order takeout.

What Went Wrong?

Things took a turn for the worse during an inspection on August 23, 2024. According to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, three violations were noted, with two being classified as high-priority.
