Tallahassee students receive free heart screenings at Florida High

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Around 100 students lined up at Florida High on Friday, for a quick and painless screening that could potentially save lives. Who We Play For set up free electrocardiograms, or ECGs, in hopes of detecting heart conditions that are often missed during physicals. The screenings typically take just five minutes, but they can flag conditions that impact approximately 1 in 300 students.
