A pedestrian was hit and killed Sunday afternoon in east Leon County.
FHP spokesperson Patricia Jefferson-Shaw said a 14-year-old was hit around 12:05 p.m. on Miccosukee Road near Edenfield Road in front of the Miccosukee Greenway. He was in critical condition when he was taken to a local hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
No other details releasable as of Monday morning. This is the 10th pedestrian fatality so far this year in the capital city and county.
