The 82nd Annual North Florida Fair opens at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, with free admission, and runs through Nov. 17 at the North Florida Fairgrounds, 441 Paul Russell Road. Thursday’s Midway Special is $25 with unlimited rides, sold on midway only. No unlimited ride tickets are sold after 9:30 p.m.
With over 100 rides, games, and concessions on the Strates Shows Midway, fairgoers have no shortage of exciting options. Favorites include the Giant Wheel, the Claw and the Pirate. New food options include the “Dilly Dog,” which features a large dill pickle, hollowed out and filled with an all-beef hot dog, skewered and dipped in corn dog batter.
